Welcome to Windy Lo

Located on Route 16 at the South Natick - Sherborn line, Windy-Lo Nursery began in 1961 under the ownership of Phil Flagg. Since that time the nursery has grown from a roadside stand into a complete Garden Center including a new large attached greenhouse, a large detached greenhouse and smaller “growing” houses, a country store containing all the needs of the home gardener and landscaper, as well as many unique country gifts.

The sales yard is filled each Spring with a wide selection of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants, ground covers, roses, etc . and inside, of course, such items as seeds, potting soil, pots, fertilizers, sprays, peat moss, etc, can be found.

In the Fall the Nursery offers fantastic display of bulbs including tulips, crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and specializes in the not-so-common specie and dwarf varieties. Pumpkins, Indian Corn - all the markings of Fall in New England.

The Christmas season is a special time at Windy-Lo. Each year we begin with a free hayride around the nursery for the kids with Santa accompanying them for a extra treat. Quality Christmas trees, superbly hand decorated wreaths, lush garlands, holly and swags enhance the picturesque scene. In the greenhouse are hundreds of Holiday Plants including Poinsettias, Cyclamen, Christmas Cactus, and more. The Christmas shop offers unique and unusual ornaments from around the world. It’s an exciting time of year and Windy-Lo hopes to add just another measure of excitement to your holiday.

The winter months are a quiet time of year but Windy-Lo is still open 5 days a week. We offer wonderful houseplants in our greenhouse, seeds to get your garden started inside and of course our lovely gift shop.

No matter what the season of the year the staff at Windy-Lo is eager to be of service
